So this is an easy problem to explain, since anyone with an iPhone can see it themselves.

We run an education reform news website, shown here:

It looks correct on all our in-house laptops, both Mac and Windows, in whatever browsers we try.

But on any of the iPhones we try, at least the iPhone4s, there are weird spammy text characters that appear right in the middle of the homepage (if you zoom in to the "today's video" area, you'll see them clearer. They appear on lower-level pages too.

Our site is run on WordPress 3.5.1.

Does anyone have any idea where we go to remove this from our site???

Thanks in advance!

I would check the page elements with the Firebug plugin on firefox or chrome. Firefox version seems to be better tho. You can check all the parts of the page in to look for where it's hiding and then go into the code for that part to change it. That is the best thing I can come up with.

The problem isn't connected to a particular page. Meaning the exact same spam text characters appear on not only the home page, but in all the subpages too:

So the problem characters have been put not in the posts, but somewhere else in the Wordpress code. Any ideas?
