HELP!! whats changed on my MP

HELP!! This may not be a big issue, but each time i do a screen capture either command-shift-3 or command-shift-4 the captured image used to appear on my desktop, now it doesn't and ive no idea where its going ?? makes the noise like its captured but no image?

maybe it's actually there but Finder isn't showing them?

For all those who are interested, this seems to be a duplicate thread. Mr.Noisy, please don't make multiple threads don't he same topic in future. Otherwise I'll rip your ears off, which will undoubtedly solve your issue. 🙂
