Help!!! (when running Office it suddenly goes white)

    Just got a new MacBook Pro, installed my previuos time machine, a huge monitor, the new magic mouse and a key board. Problem is:

    When using Office it suddenly goes white and the only thing I can do is press the power button until the computer shuts off.

    What can I do to fix this?

    Please help!

    Help us by choosing a more descriptive title. "Help" can be a plea for anything.

    When it goes white, have you tried unplugging the monitor and opening the MacBook Pro?

    Is it just me, or does Microsoft software seem to be intended as a WMD for macs?
