Why are my write times not faster? Installed a Crucial P1 500GB M.2 and a kyroM.2 NVME card. Another member here installed a P1 and his write times are about 1350.

Tried slot 4 and 2
2012 Mac Pro 1 x 3.33
Boot ROM Version 144.0.0.0.0
SMC Version 1.39f11
Crucial P1 500GB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD
Aquacomputer kryoM.2 evo PCIe 3.0 x4 adapter for M.2
Trim enabled yes
Used 159GB of 500GB
macOS Mojave version 10.14.6

All TLC and QLC blades have a SLC buffer to speed write throughput. After the SLC buffer is filled, your blade will show the real TLC/QLC write speed.

Only blades with full SLC/MLC NAND can cope with sustained writes without taking a big slowdown. Crucial P1 is a QLC NAND blade, the slowest for writes.
