iPad Help! Will an ipad 3 digitizer works on an ipad 2?

Recently i bought an ipad 2 digitizer because I crashed the screen and I was planning to repair it, but the problem is that the screen that arrived was from an ipad 3 and the guy who sold it to me doesn't want to take responsibility and stopped answering my calls so I need to know if I try to change the digitizer with the one from the ipad 3 will it work on my ipad 2?

Unlikely...Is this from eBay or paid via PayPal or credit card?

No. As I see on iFixit, the positions of the connectors on iPad 2 and 3 are different.
