HELP! Windows xp or Vista?

so i plan on using windows JUST for gaming and don't know if i should just buy a Windows XP Pro SP2 or just by the Vista Home.

Is it worth getting Vista or should windows xp be just fine for gaming etc....

I have Vista Ultimate installed on my MBP 2.4 -- I recommend XP Home. Why do you need XP Pro?

xp is fine gaming, vista home is fine too, I supposed NVidia has updated their drivers?

I also have Vista on my MBP and recommend XP, especially if it's just for gaming. Vista is pretty, but definitely not a better OS.

Just for gaming, go with XP. If you actually want to use Windows, go with Vista. It's a much better experience, in my opinion.

8600GT is a dx10 card so i went with vista for futureproofing.
