Help with a U3 USB

Hi all. I bought a USB Flash Drive that also was a U3 Launchpad. Now, I usually format my Flashdrives to FAT32, but for some reason, I can't copy files over to this drive if it's formatted to FAT32. Could it be because of the U3?

Are you trying to copy over files to the U3 filesystem or the remaining flash drive partition?

I've only be able to remove the U3 stuff under Windows.
