Help With Adding Applications "Authenticate" Popup

    Open up Terminal, type this in, and post what you get:

    ls -l / | grep Applications

    No, I mean post the output from the command:

    drwxrwxr-x+ 45 root admin 1530 Sep 10 11:08 Applications


    The first bit is the ownership and permissions for the /Applications folder. It seems to be wrong.

    Ok, try repairing permissions. Because that is WAYY off what it should be.

    i just repaired my disk permissions and nothing happend was i supposed to first varify the permissions?
