i'll second the recommendation for app zapper, i paid for it and its a solid and wonderful gem of an app. yes i know there are free alternatives out there. but i'm happy with my choice. 😛

Is there a particular reason why just dragging the app to the trash will not suffice? ...In most cases this method deletes the app just fine.

If you must, however, there's always, AppZapper (shareware) or Uninstaller (freeware).

Another freeware alternative to AppZapper is AppDelete. And there's another app, $10, called CleanApp that should do the trick as well.
