Help with an unknown process?

I have just noticed in activity monitor I have a process that is unknown and I have never seen it before.

Process - AppSSOAgent

Any ideas what it is?

Thanks, so I take it this was installed by the system and is needed for some service to do with MacOS? - Or have I unknowingly installed this?

Ignore my ignorance these things go way above my head... Thanks

@Jsquires1990 My understanding is it is part of macOS at this time, it is mentioned as an extension in Apple Support on this page:

Thanks folks. I guess its always going to be running upon startup, and then sits in activity monitor.

It threw me initially as I had never noticed it previously, but it was probably always there.

It's part of the OS. It's in Catalina and I am too lazy to check if it was in previous versions too.
