I have been struggling with the abomination that is Apple Connect for artists for so long. I am hoping that some kindly soul will take pity and help me.
I have music released as an artist on Apple Music. I have been verified as an artist and have control of my artist profile. I am able to post a video or picture to my few fans.
What I am unable to do is share a playlist of my own making.
For example - in the Apple Music App on iPhone
I select LIBRARY
then ADMIN
from there i can see my MANAGED ARTISTS where I select my artist name
I can then make a PLAYLIST
Once the playlist is complete I can see the red circle with the 3 dots in it. I press this expecting to see POST TO CONNECT somewhere in the options but it isn't there. I have the option to SHARE PLAYLIST but nothing at all happens when I press this.
I can go into the normal Apple Music library and select a random artist and lo and behold there is a POST TO CONNECT option. But how the hell do I post my own artist made playlists to connect so my followers can see?
I have read the HOWTOCONNECT pdf from Apple which despite apparently telling you how to do it doesn't seem to work.
I have emailed artistconnecthelp@apple.com many times and they NEVER answer. The last time was 3 weeks ago and still no response.
