Hi,

I'm flying to the US on Saturday from the UK.

I had planned on buying an iPad mini 4 16GB and a 64GB version from Bestbuy, but the $100 off each model has ended today so now both are the same price as apple.com.

As i'm not from the US i don't know where else to check for good deals. Where is a good place to buy?

I'll be in Cincinnati if that helps.

Any help would be appreciated, i'm disappointed to miss the good offers by less than a week!

Target or Walmart. You probably missed out unfortunately as they all follow each other's lead on the discounts and ending them.

Check Best Buy stores for open box iPads. I'm sure a few were returned

Apple refurbished, and use store pick-up if you don't want to wait for shipping.
Apple refurbished products are pretty much "new" products inside white boxes (they may use used components, but cosmetically they look as pristine and use new batteries). Plus you get the same warranty.
I wouldn't buy a refurbished Apple product from stores other than Apple's own.

also, do you know anyone local? you can get 5% off at target with their red card.

i know its too late already, but if you know which best buy you would be going (like the nearest to your airport/hotel), you could order online ahead with discounted price and choose store pickup. then (maybe) you could call the store tell them when you'd be arriving, and pick it up then.

That was my plan, but I waited a day too long :( I wasn't sure which day I'd be able to get there as my trip is for work so that had to be the priority.
