help with capty mpeg edit

hi - i just purchased and downloaded Capty Mpeg Edit Ex Dolby Digital 5.1 for Sony and the Capty Dvd that goes with it to hopefully use on my mac. The capty dvd installed just fine, but when i try to open the capty mpeg, it just says that i am missing a library. what does this mean? should i uninstall, download it again and hope for the best? i am new to this - if someone can help - thanks!!!😕

What OS and QuickTime version are you running? The Capty Mpeg Edit program is made for up to OS 10.3.9.

capty mpeg edit problem

I have OS 10.4.11 and quick time 7.5.5!! so does this mean the program is worthless for me? there is no update? thanks for your help!😕
