    I installed ultrasn0w last night but the cellular data network tab seems to have disappeared. I installed an APN profile from unlockit.co.nz to get my edge working but MMS still does not work. And since the cellular data network tab is missing i cannot edit the settings. Also, Facetime does not work (I tried 1888FACETIME) and under the phone settings it says "Waiting for activiation." Any fixes?

    Me too!

    I'm on a 3gs on 4.0 and have the exact same problem. If I hear of a fix I'll post it here. You do the same, ok? My Airplane mode was gone too, then after a reboot that reappeared. I'm on T-Mobile in the US so I can get on the EDGE network, but do not have MMS. Do you have an MMS option? I know you can't send it without the cellular network, but does the camera show up in the messaging app?

    I am having the same issue. I am actually on AT&T and installed the unlock and then uninstalled it because it was pointless for me and facetime was not working. I did the iphonedelivery off of cydia to get my mms and facetime switch back. However, when I tried to activate facetime, it would not work and it would fail each time. I then remembered that I have My3G installed and running. I wondered if that had anything to do with it. I switched that off for the phone part and tried activating again. It's been sitting here waiting for activation for 10 minutes so far with nothing.

    People are working on the problem now but I'm guessing a hacked commcenter and custom carrier bundle will be needed.

    For instance adding the following to any carrier.plist will enable editing of the settings in the phone:

    HTML:
    <key>ASCIIFileNameRequired</key>
    <true/>
    <key>AllowEDGEEditing</key>
    <true/>
    <key>AllowMMSCEditing</key>
    <true/>
    <key>AllowMMSEditing</key>
    <true/>
    Check out: http://modmyi.com/forums/t-mobile/ as they seem to be more on top of the issue.

    yeah exactly. it reads, "Your phone number will be shared with people you call with FaceTime." Haven't had a chance to test it yet, but I am going to call my cousin this afternoon and see how it goes.

    He's on AT&T. Facetime is not working for T-mobile and I don't think it will unless someone comes up with a clever hack as the method used by supported carriers is not working properly. Basically a special SMS is sent back and forth to a special number and unsupported carriers are mishandling that SMS.

    There might not be a fix as it seems to be carrier related (IE tmobile would need to fix something on their end). Anyways not enough information now as the unlock has only been available for a few hours....
