Help with changing time a picture was taken.

I recently traveled and forgot to change the time on my camera so now all the pictures are showing a three hour difference. I know the photos app on a Mac can do this, but it doesn't override the actual file itself. Is there a program out there that will override the file without editing anything else with the image? I have both JPG and raw files.
