I hope you can help me with this configuration with iPhone and Photos App, because I don know how to move forward, and if we get it done, if could very useful for a lot of people I think.
I have a Macbook Air and iPhone SE and an External HDD connected to Time Capsule.
My configuration to free space on iPhone and Macbook is:
- Full Photo Library in external Hard Drive connected to Time Capsule. (150gb of photos)
- I want to Update Full Photo Library each 1-3 months, with iPhone or iCloud pictures.
- I have iPhone Library (System Library) with iCloud Photo Sharing active, visible in all devices.
- iPhone Library (System Library) on System Hard Drive is needed to free the space, getting in iCloud Photos without your Full Photo Library.
This configuration is for accessing and handling iPhone Photos without the needed of your Full Photo Library , opening just iPhone Library (System Library) on my Macbook Air.
Everything it worked great to me, but I have a little problem now:
How I could update my Full Photo Library with iPhone pictures or iPhone Library?
When I connect my iPhone with Full Photo Library opened, is not showing me nothing to import because iPhone Library (System Library) it is up to date, but I am opening Full Photo Library! and can not get updated Full Photo Library to get my last 3 months of pictures and free space on the iPhone and MacBook Air...
There is the RAW option to send them to Desktop, but I loose metadata, live pictures for example.
Anyone can try to help me on this configuration?

I can not believe I can not handle all pictures on my phone from Photos just fu'king connecting it...
It is a bit annoying this... The easy that can be something like iTunes, and not mentioning the "zero" compatibility with iTunes... In my opinión, ridiculous.
