I downloaded a trial of cs3 Photoshop. I needed to delete it. So I deleted some of the files but now I cant get rid of all of it. I need to install one that I bought but it wont install because it detects photoshop already installed. Please help! What files do I need to get rid of so the new disc will not detect photoshop.
If you still have the application installed you can use App Delete to remove it and all it's files along with it but you need to still have the application installed. http://reggie.ashworth.googlepages.com/
i would not just go around and start deleting things francly i would not delete it at all if you actually bought cs3 you should be able to just type in your serial number and name if you you "bought" it pm me as i do not think i can talk about that on here. edit: o and app delete not my favorite program
Those application-deleting programs like Appzapper and the like will *NOT* work when trying to uninstall Photoshop. You need to use the original Photoshop uninstall app, normally located under: Applications -> Utilities -> Adobe Installers When I tried removing the CS3 beta a long time ago, it was *not* pretty when I tried removing it without that uninstall app. -Bryan
just exactly what do you want to do? because the trial version and the purchased version are exactly the same except the trial only works for a certain amount of time, but is exactly the same.
I did actually buy it. And I entered the serial number into the correct place and it denied it. Then I read that you can only enter a number if it was a download. I resolved the problem though.
