Basically i was acting stupid and managed to break my macbook pro screen... for the time being all is cool as i have a spare monitor. only problem is, when i connect the monitor the displays are not mirrored. of course with my macbook screen not working i cant check the "mirror" box as i cant see it :(

any help at all would be appreciated as it will be a while until i have any money at all to go about getting the screen replaced.

Thanks, Chris

If you attach a keyboard and mouse, you can boot the MBP with the lid closed and it will use the external as the primary display. Then you can set mirrored mode and use as normal.
