Help with Divx!

I just uploaded my first video to my Macbook Pro and it was saved as VIDEO001.divx. I haven’t found a way of burning it on a CD because Toast just tells me that some error arises. What should I do in this case? I have a Sony camera.

Error with burning? Get your DVD burner checked out at the Genius Bar.

Before bringing it to a Mac Genius I would check if it can burn anything; a data disc from Finder, an audio CD from iTunes, etc. If it won't burn anything, its probably the drive unless you've been using discs from the same spindle or the same pack. If it does burn from either or both of those, it could be an error message unique to Toast and not an indicator of anything wrong with the drive.
