I did the research and still can't find out why this is happening

I uploaded my pictures and a few documents onto my dropbox but I can't open the files on my iPad. I can understand why the MS Word/PowerPoint documents won't open but what about the PDF files or pictures?

Thanks!

Once you have the image open within the Dropbox app, select the arrow icon in the upper right hand corner. There should be an option to save the photo to your albums.

Unfortunately I don't have any PDFs loaded in Dropbox, but the same should apply to these as well...

Photos & PDF

I've found that the included Dropbox Photos folder does not work transferring photos. I created a folder named Documents and have no issues since when transferring either photos or PDF's from Mac to iPad. Note that the photos are JPG files; if you're transferring RAW files they may not be able to be displayed.
