Hi everyone

I've done a search and I think I understand, but I just wanted to make sure.

I need to take what is showing on my pre-unibody macbook pro and put it on two external monitors. I think what I need is a DVI splitter, like one of these:

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2315801&CatId=466

I also need two extension cords, but I'm not sure what kind I will need. (I haven't hooked up an external monitor in over a decade).

Also, I don't know if there's any particular type of monitor that I need.

Can you please clarify these things for me? I would really appreciate it!

Thanks

You'll just need two DVI-D cables and a monitor with a DVI port. Any monitor made in the last 5 years or so should fit the bill.

thanks for the quick reply, but i am confused. do the dvi cables plug into one another? sorry for my slowness, but i have two external monitors, and only one dvi out, or maybe i am wrong.

Sorry, I guess you'd need three DVI cables. One connects the computer to the splitter, the other two connect the splitter to the monitors.
