Hi guys , currently I'm using Entourage 2004 accessing my emails from a 2003 exchange server. I also have a TyTn pda phone which I use for emails. My issue is the sync from the exchange server to Entourage for the messages sent from the TyTn.

I'll try to expain the problem in more detail. If I send a message from the TyTn the receiptant receives the message fine. When Entourage syncs with the exchange server the message appears as follows in the sent items.

Has anyone come across this. It seems entourage can't sync emails sent as text.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your transcript shows that [part of] your message is utf-8 (8-bit UCS/Unicode Transformation Format). Plain text is 7-bit ASCII. In each of your email clients, you need to ensure that you are have properly selected the character set. Within Entourage 2004, you should be OK with Format > Character Set > Automatic. You might also try Format > Character Set > Unicode (UTF-8). You may have to experiment with your Windows Mobile-based PDA's email client.

Thank you for your quick reply. I have tried different formats in Entourage with no success. I just sent an email to the exchange host to find out excately what format is being used. Again thank you for your prompt reply.
