This was never really an issue before because I didn't want any push notifications, but now I would like Facebook to push messages and alerts to my phone. I have it set on the iphone but nothing is pushing. Any ideas?

Yes, with facebook its a hit or miss.
Sometimes you will get them while other times you wont.
The app wont load at times and crash to the homescreen etc....
Its very buggy.
