ok so i have a "Maxtor OneTouch II FireWire 800 Edition" external hard drive...
so how the hell do you format it for MACs so i can just click, drag, and drop stuff in? any help is much appreciated.

thanks

Open up Disk Utility in the Utilities folder, select the Erase tab and then select the format you desire. If you'd like to occasionally use this with Windows, then you should format it as MD-DOS File System (FAT32), otherwise format it as Mac OS Extended (Journaled). :)
