Ok so I have to move my entire collection into my drafty cold and hot garage. I
am afraid that they might break from being stored in there. from condensation and stuff. The temp flux is 45' at night to 96' during the day. Please help because I don't want to lose my macs I have to put them in there tonight.

This is the problem I face which is why I'm determined to build a garage/shed that is insulated and reasonably sealed. Once I do this, I can have my house back.

Keeping them off the cold floor may help, packed into boxes sealed with packing tape or plastic boxes with lids that prevent ingress of dust.

An old trick I've heard of is old stockings packed with a few handfuls of uncooked rice as a desiccant substitute, but I've never used this idea myself.
