Hello,
I am a brand new mac user. I just left my pc last weekend. I am trying to get remote desktop to work correctly in parallels. This is what im trying to do.
I have parallels running with xp proffesional at my house. I want to be able goto any windows computer, and access my home mac computer's windows under parallels. Is this possible?
Right know i have it working under bootcamp, but i don't want to leave my mac running on bootcamp whenever i leave my house. It would be cool if i can just leave it running with parallels and be able to access it from a pc.
I'm sure it has something to do with the network ip settings, but im not sure how to do this. Any help would be great. When i look at the network settings on the windows xp , it says its shared with parallels and the ip is a weird number like 10.15.244. or something like that, its not the 192.168.## numbers. My router has port forwarding on , but only for 192.168.## numbers. Please help if you can.
Thanks.
