I was experiencing some constant browser and programs so I restarted my MBP and ran Verify Disk. Here is the error message:

    Verifying volume “Macintosh HD”
    Checking HFS Plus volume.
    Checking Extents Overflow file.
    Checking Catalog file.
    Incorrect size for file keyedobjects.nib
(It should be 0 instead of 6383)
    Checking multi-linked files.
    Checking Catalog hierarchy.
    Checking Extended Attributes file.
    Checking volume bitmap.
    Checking volume information.
The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.

Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit

    1 HFS volume checked
    Volume needs repair

It would not even allow me to Repair Disk. Anyone know what I should do?

You can't repair the disk you boot from so you'll either need to boot from the OSX restore discs (holding C at startup) and use the bundled version of Disk Utility to repair your drive, or you'll need to run fsck from Single User Mode. :)

DOH! Forgot about Disk Utility from OSX disk. Thanks for reminding me and now the problem is fixed.

But do you guys think this may be a sign of possible HD failure, or is this just a software issue?

It could potentially be a sing of imminent failure but I wouldn't be too worried at this stage. Just use Disk Utility to keep verifying it every now and then. :)
