help with ibook

i have a mac ibook 2001 os9.2.
i am trying to use the air card to connect to the net. it sees the wireless point but will not connect? i have updated. still will not connect. new to macs. help would be good for me.😕

Umm...that will run OS X, I suggest you use it...OS 9 is really too outdated to work with wireless routers of today.
