Help With iMovie

Hi all,

I've had a macbook pro for several years and am trying to create a movie using imovie 8. I'm using the built-in webcam and haven't had any trouble getting the video to record. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out why there's no sound. Do I need to purchase an separate microphone or is there one built into the computer I can use for this purpose?

It would all depend on which model you have. I have the current version and my mic is on the top right located just above the escape key.
