Help with importing a CD into new iTunes 12

Hello. I did not see where to post an itunes question. But I am sure somebody here can help. I am trying to import some cd's into the newest version of itunes (I think it is 12). I cannot for the love of God find out how to do this. I have spent the last hours going through every tab and nothing. I even set my setting to where when I put a cd in it should automatically import it. yet nothing happens. Please help.

What happens when you go to File --> Add to library and select your CD?
