Hi, I'm looking to be buying a Macbook or Macbook Pro in the very near future and need some advice regarding internet access. I've recently got a new job which means frequent travelling around Europe and want to buy a laptop to take with me. I've been noticing in hotels just recently some are advertising broadband internet access and some don't. The ones that do should not be a problem, I can just pay to use the wireless access as I go. The ones that dont have service will be a problem. I dont want to have to resort to using dial up if I can avoid it. I've noticed Vodafone sell a 3G internet access card but from what I can gather it's only PC card. The new Macbooks I think now have a new standard, and dont know much about it. Is there a similar think I can get for the new Macbooks or would I be better off buying an older PowerBook so I can used this card. Any advice from frequent travellers would be very much appreciated.
