iPod help with ipod issue

I'm getting a warning "Some of the items in the itunes library including ..." were not copied to the ipod because you are not authorized... But these songs are authorized and I'm logged in but itunes can't connect to the music store, what is going on??

Other people including me are also currently having problems connecting to the iTunes store. They must be doing maintenance or having an issue. When it's back up iTunes should be able to verify your DRM and let your transfer your music.

Did you try a reboot? Do the songs play in iTunes? Did you buy the songs or did you get them from elsewhere?

I bought the songs...the store was down but now it's up and i'm good to go
