iPod touch Help with iPod Touch 2G and greenpoision jb

I recently bought a old iPod Touch 2G with a broken screen. I repaired the screen but now the iPod is stuck in the greenpoision loop. I have tried to put in DFU and Recovery mode but I can't get the iPod to turn off. iTunes doesn't recognize it either. Any other suggestions on what I can do to fix it? I have searched but am having trouble locating my problem.

Sounds like it has some more hardware issues.
If it didn't it would restore fine with itunes via DFU.

True.
Could be many things wrong with it when you buy a broken device like that.
If you start guessing and keep buying parts to replace it could get expensive and stressful.
