Help with Joomla (Basic)

Hello,
I need major help a friend said I should use Joomla (Chris if you see this help too since your never on AIM) for my site, since I was going to do it in just HTML/PHP and it would take time to update, so I agreed it would be far better, but HOW do I edit it? And what is the file names? I need some basic help please... Also is there some kind of admin section?

I have not used that CMS but I have used many others. You can usually get help from the script website. I went there and noticed they have a forum. They may have some documentation as well.
