On my new 2017 MacBook, I am having a lot of problem with Safari and this website: https://slickdeals.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=9 (and any of the associated forums on this domain)

The page stalls while loading and I get a beachball for about 3-4 seconds. More details and screenshots here. If I disable JavaScript, the pages loads fast/fine. That seems to be on the only site I have issues with, so I don't want to disable JavaScript completely, and I really prefer Safari over other browsers.

I downloaded JS Blocker 5 (v5.2.2) as a Safari Extension. I understand that this extension can block JS for certain sites/domains, but I'm befuddled by the settings needed to accomplish this.

Does anyone have any tips on how to do this, or any other solution to disabling JS for just the particular site I linked above? Thanks in advance :)

Solved. Turns out it was DuckDuckGo Safari extension causing the issues. Once disabled, all websites load perfectly fine.
