OK....total noob at this, but I'm trying to figure this out. Little did I know that Apple took out the video out function on the new lightning connector. I hate Apple....anyway, that's beside the point.
My JVC head unit I bought has the 30 pin connector...easy fix I thought was to buy the 30 pin to lightning....then I found out the bad news.
How can I work around this? One option is just to go back to a 4s. Not going to happen. I did some checking around....could I buy a RCA, HDMI, then some sort of convertor....then buy the Apple lightning to HDMI cable?
This particular JVC unit works with a certain amount of apps on the iPhone...but only with the 30 pin. I'd love to be able to use my navigation on this unit.
