Help with kernel panic after new ram?

So I recently installed windows 7 ultimate via bootcamp. I just installed need for speed rivals, and its slightly laggy. video settings are set as low as they can go, and just getting a little lag, so i figured id upgrade my ram. I had 8 gb of ram and upgraded to 16 gb.
this is what i bought:
CMSX16GX3M2A1600C10 (corsair vengeance)
The first time i booted, i could see the ram was installed, it was running at 800mhz?? it shows 16 gb ram @ 800mhz...
anyways, shortly after that, my mac crashed, and wouldnt reboot until i swapped out the new ram for the old ram.

Which model do you have? not all macbooks are supporting 16gb of RAM.

3 Possibilities:
1. Your Macbook doesn't support 16 GB RAM.
2. You have wrong kind of RAM
3. The RAM is defective. (quite common)

I'd first check to make sure your Mac supports 16 GB ram.
if it does, send the ram back for replacement.

8GB is the maximum that'll work on those.

Thanks a ton for the response. The ram is good, but my mac cant take 16 gb. In 2011 they can accept up to 16 gb, but since mine is a late 2010, it can't... it sucks.
