    Hey All,

I have a rMBP 15" that has gotten random kernel panic maybe ... 3 times since i bought it last August? This last time (today) was waking it from sleep in clamshell. Curious if anyone on here can help read this?

It appears to not like your Logitech device. Check for an update to the Logitech drivers or try using your devices without the Logitech drivers installed.

Yeah so i was trying to read the report, and i noticed the lines stating my logitech drivers at the bottom, but does it specify those are the drivers that failed anywhere in the report? (i ask cause i honestly don't know).

I see these 4 lines at the bottom, but its just listed with all the other apple drivers as well, so it has to say somewhere else these are the issues no?

    com.driver.LogJoystick 2.0
    com.logitech.driver.LogiGamingMouseFilter 1
    com.Logitech.Unifying.HID Driver 1.3.0
    com.Logitech.Control Center.HID Driver 3.7.0

And if i were to try and remove these, how do you manually remove specific drivers in os x? (embarrassing, been using os x now for 10 years and never had to look for drivers to install or uninstall lol. I've gotten so lazy since leaving windows).

    thanks!

It looks like the Logitech software is out of date. 3.9 is current and your extension is 3.7.0. Try updating it before uninstalling, if you need it.

The lines indicating the crash are these:

The Apple HID (mouse/keyboard driver) threw an error that caused the panic. That driver is working with the Logitech drivers to run your mouse/keyboard. There may be an uninstaller for your Logitech device. I'd recommend searching for how to remove it properly. Logitech may have a page about it on their site.

Will do :) if it's the logitech stuff. Panic once awhile from that (opposed to hardware) shouldn't cause harm right ?

It won't damage the hardware. It could cause some slight data corruption or file loss, but that isn't very common.

It can lead to disk corruption, depending on what the computer is doing when it panics. It really isn't something you should have to tolerate.

    Ima check for update first.

    ----------

Know what. When my mac was asleep I removed logitech USB doggle to use on another computer. Then woke it up. That may or may not be triggering it?
