help with mac Messenger

    Hi people i have loads of friends on windows vista messenger, would i be able to still speak to them through the mac version of messenger, like add them to it, as i will be having an iMac coming soon and just wanted to know before hand. Thanks

    Yes you can talk to them through mac messenger but it has a terriable UI and no A/V chat.

    If you really want the full experience you're going to have to run Windows Live Messenger.

    Of course you will be able to do that. Friends and e-mails are behind your windows live account, not software or specific computer.

    My advice is to get aMSN or Mercury MSN, they are lot better.

    Mac Messenger doesn't have audio or video capabilities yet.

    Soon though ;)

    I don't think so. It's still made by Microsoft, and they want something that is not available for macs.

    Get aMSN or Mercury MSN, both have audio and video things.
