I'm starting to use Mail more and More and I have a question. I've created a smart mailbox for all my emails from certain people. I've also created a regular mailbox for each smart mailbox. Can I tell the smart mailbox to move it from my inbox to the corresponding folder when it receives it?

You don't need Smart Folders to do this, but play around with the Rules in Mail's Preferences. Using these rules, you can move emails, label them or pretty much do whatever you want. 🙂

Mail Preferences -> Rules

Check out the Mail 'Rules' found under Preferences.

The rules can be made as complicated or simple as you'd like and work essentially the same as when you set the parameters for your Smart Mail Box.

.... but, I don't understand why you need a smart mail box and then a need to move it out of the smart mail box to another folder ... 😕

<ah, a little slower than MJ... was playing around with the Rules window while writing the response...>
