Help with my ipad please. Safari tabs.

🙁 so i want to play songs in one window on safari via youtube, whilst reading in another tab of safari. Except...it wont let me do this, the music stops as soon as i view another tab

Double tap the home button and swipe right to access the media controls and press play. Works for me.

Thankyou very much, still getting use to the quirks of ios, but working great now, thanks again

You even listen to the YouTube video with the screen turned off. Just double the tap the home button to bring up the controls and press play.
