hello
i am new to this website and desperately need advice.
i am 17 and have been using my parents apple id since i was about 11. i am setting up my own account, and have managed to sign in to my new ID on my macbook pro, iPhone 4s and new ipad.

however, the reason for me settin up a new ID was due to the fact that our content kept clashing because of icloud, for example me recieving my dads documents etc. in my iphone settings, i cannot sign out of my dad's icloud account and create a new itunes account. is there a way to do this without having to reset my phone?

any help would be much appreciated.

You need to delete the account on your iPhone. Don't worry it will only delete it from the phone and doesn't remove anything from iCloud itself. So your dad can continue to use it on his devices.
