HELP with NEW IPAD 2

Hi all, i just got a new ipad 2 and i did a restore from my ipad 1 backup, but all my saved game data is not transferring over ? can someone tell me why this would happen ?

Did you make sure you backed up your old iPad first before attempting to restore to the new iPad?

Yes, does it matter if the old ipad does not have 5.0 on it yet ?

If you still have the original iPad why not do the update + all app updates then backup via iTunes. Restore to your iPad2 and see if that works.
