I have searched up and down so I hope this isn't an obvious problem or something I should find an answer to easily...if so, I apologize. Blame it on my n00bness.
Earlier this evening, without warning, I suddenly began having issues with my cursor. If I roll over a hyperlink, the pointer turns to the pointing hand and will not turn back to the pointer until I click again. If I scroll over a link and that link it turns red from blue (on mouseover), the link will not turn back blue until I click elsewhere. No other mouseovers work until I click somewhere else.
The dock will not raise (I have it set to autohide) until I click near the bottom of the screen, instead of just moving my cursor there. My hot corners aren't working. If I click "Edit" in the Finder bar, for example, it stays open until I click elsewhere, regardless of where I move my mouse.
This is on my brand new Blackbook I bought in mid March, in case the hardware matters.
Please help! Thanks.
