    Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I just got a new non retina macbook pro 15". Last night the computer when to sleep, and when I tried to wake it up, it stayed on a black screen for a while, then rebooted itself. This was the log that came up:

Could this be the machine? Aka faulty parts? Or should I try a fresh install of lion.

    Thanks All

If you get a screen that looks like this:
It's called a kernel panic. If it doesn't happen again, or very infrequently, don't worry about it.
"You need to restart your computer" (kernel panic) message appears (Mac OS X v10.5, 10.6)

I had this same thing happen to me three times on my mbp 13" 2012, so I just exchanged it.
