I have a powerbook G4 with mac os 10.3.9 installed on it. i recently got the application PCSX and it seems to work fine except for a few minor/major things. first of all i am missing the bios. when I downloaded it I put it under Library/Application Support, however when i got the application, it didnt come with the PCSX folder like its supposed to. i also need a virtual memory card as well. one of the other things is, ive been lookinng online for a gamepad that works on a mac, but the ones ive found only wprk on the "Other" system (Windows) can someone halp me out?

    thanks :)

If you don't mind me asking what are the specs of the PowerBook and how well does it emulate?

BTW when you open the program go up top to the tool bar and a load bios option should be open if not I can't remember how to load it off the top of my head, if you don't have the bios search Google for. Spch 1001 I think

it emulates pretty good, at least i think it does. SNES9X (Super Nintendo Entertainment System Emulator) works perfectly on my computer. when i when up to file and clicked prefrences the bios was being simulated automatically, after my computer told me it was missing the bios. i tried to configure the keyboard to work as a controller.

the specs can be found here

First off, check out this guide.

If you have PSX/PS2 controllers, there are adapters (like this) that adapt a PlayStation controller to a plug-and-play USB device. I have one and it works fine on my computer (MacPro1,1, but I can try it on my OS9 PowerBook if you'd like). As for the software problems, where did you get your copy of PCSX? Make sure it's the newest, if it isn't already.

I'd be interested to see how well the emulator performs on a PPC - I've never had much luck with PPC emus other than MacMAME, and that was a really long time ago - so good luck!
