My school uses pdf versions of textbooks to project onto the screen during lessons. For worksheets, there is the option of either revealing or hiding the answer by clicking in the respective blank.

However, I find that when I try doing this on my mac at home, the answers do not come on. Is there anyway to fix this? I would like the ability to show this on my ipad, so I don't have to keep alternating between 2 pdfs, 1 with solutions and the other without.

Thank you for your help, all. :)

There is nothing to fix because nothing is broken. PDF is a "standard" that varies from implementation to implementation. What you are describing is a non-traditional use for the filetype. Your ebook implementation appears to have been developed by the ebook publisher for this purpose.

Download an install Adobe Reader. If Reader can handle concealable text, then you are in luck. If not, then you may search the ebook publisher's website for a copy of the software used by the instructor.
