Just had broadband installed inhouse. Have Powermac G4 1Ghz MDD and airport express. Trying to find a suitable card that will work for the G4. Have read some threads suggesting Belkin F5D7000UK V1,2,or4. This is not available in Ireland it would appear. I can get Belkin F5D7001UK. Will this work?

ANy ideas and is there a particular version and drivers that I need.

An Airport Extreme card would be the safest, easiest option. OWC have a bunch of other guaranteed mac-compatible options. I don't think you can plonk any old wireless PCI card in a mac and get it to work.

Thanks for that, but I was hoping to get something cheaper as I am on a budget. Any other ideas......

Read somewhere else that BT (in the UK) may have a card that works.

I have this card in my MDD, and I am very happy with it. It uses the same chipset as the AirPort Extreme card, so it requires no extra software. Simply plug it in, and it works seamlessly with the AirPort software. The speed is phenominal, faster than on my AE equipped iBook. As you can see if you look around, it costs a lot less than an AirPort card too.
