Help with Preview "Mail Selected Image"

I made a decision early on to use Thunderbird for email and I have it set as my default email app everywhere I can find to set it, even in the OS X mail app; however, when I select "Mail Selected Image" in Preview it always opens the Mail app and not Thunderbird.

Anyone know how to change this?

Just curious. Was this a stupid question or is Preview not worth using?
