Hello everyone. I am a) new to macs and b) new to this macrumors forum. So, i actually had no idea how to start my own threat. So this post actully has nothing to do with the last user's post. I had a question of my own.

I bought a 15" MBP in October before leopard came out, so it came with Tiger and I have the Leopard upgrade disks. I am wondering exactly how to do a fresh install from the OS X "upgrade" disk that I got instead of actually upgrading it. I have heard that full, fresh installs are better than upgrades, so I, as a result, want to do a full install and do not want to run the upgraded Leopard. I have already backed everything up properly, so what is next? How do I delete the upgraded Leopard that I am running now in order to do a fresh and full install of 10.5? I would really appreciate it if someone could make a step by step list telling me how to do a full install of 10.5.

Thank you, previous poster, for letting me use this thread to ask my own question.
